Frequency converter; Convertisseur de fréquence
This element changes the signal's carrier frequency. In transmission, for example, it enables you to switch from the baseband, where there is no carrier frequency, to the "intermediate" carrier frequency, and then to the RF carrier frequency.
Modulateur ; Modulator
This element introduces the modulation signal into the signal to be transmitted.
OL: Oscillateur Local; Local Oscillator LO
Local frequency reference used for mixing operations.
RF: Fréquence Radio; Radio frequency RF
Signal transmitted by the antenna, containing the carrier frequency and the modulation signal.
FI: Fréquence Intermédiaire; Intermediate Frequency IF
