Metal enclosures, designated on the topological boundary of figure 3 by markers 4a and 4b, generally combine three functions. They create the local potential reference (RLP), they act as shields against exposure to the electromagnetic field, and they divert to ground (RGP) the currents collected on their metallic structure.
