3.1 Dielectric medium index
The index n of the dielectric medium is defined as the ratio of the speed of light in the dielectric medium to the speed in vacuum. It depends on both dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability. In this article, we consider a material with homogeneous and isotropic properties.
