cell
Simplest form of rechargeable electrochemical battery.
battery
Association of several cells in series and/or parallel to form a battery.
capacity
Cell characteristic, expressed in Ampere.hours (Ah), representing the amount of charge that can be stored by the cell.
current scheme
Expression of the current value relative to the current that discharges the cell in 1 h of time, such a current is denoted 1C.
rated voltage
Cell reference voltage, often used by manufacturers.
self-discharge
Loss of a cell's charge during storage, even when no current is flowing.
