6. Checks and tests
Before being put into service, the assemblies must undergo a number of checks and tests.
According to the reference texts, these tests are :
or type testing ;
or individual tests;
or a combination of both.
The various applicable standards specify the tests to be carried out on assemblies within their specific scope.
