2. Eliminating dangerous operating conditions

2.1 General

Operating faults must first be detected and then eliminated. To detect them, we use protection relays that constantly monitor the evolution of various parameters of the network and the installations supplied 2.2 . These relays have one or more contacts which are activated to signal the anomaly and/or to give the order to eliminate it.
