Overview
FrançaisABSTRACT
From a regulatory viewpoint, low-voltage electrical installations must be the subject of verifications both on the occasion of their implementation after a structural modification, and periodically. Furthermore, the systematic maintenance of electrical installations prevents the degradation of the installations and thus the deterioration of the equipment, accidents involving individuals, cuts in production or supply and losses much superior to the occasional disturbances that can be caused by maintenance.

INTRODUCTION
This file covers commissioning checks, periodic inspections and maintenance of LV low-voltage electrical installations.
These checks are similar to the initial inspection of electrical installations, carried out when they are commissioned or after they have undergone structural modification, and to the periodic inspections provided for in Article 53 of the Decree of November 14, 1988, and covered by the Order of October 10, 2000. This order defines in detail the scope of the inspections and the content of the reports. The measures taken to meet the requirements of the decree and orders are assessed by reference to the corresponding best practices, in particular those relating to the prevention of risks of electric shock, burns, fire or explosion of electrical origin, contained in low-voltage installation standards, and in particular in standard NF C 15-100 and its application guides.
