2.1 Regulations for networks
Existing regulations governing live working on power networks derive directly from the decree of February 16, 1982, and are set out in article 5 of the 1988 publication UTE C 18-510: Recueil d'instructions générales de sécurité d'ordre électrique, and in article 8 of the 2012 publication UTE C 18-510-1: Recueil d'instructions de sécurité électrique pour les ouvrages.
The regulations confirmed by the order of June 19, 2014 amending the order of January 17, 1989 approving a collection of general electrical safety instructions publication UTE C 18-510-1.
In 2016, on February 10, decision no. 383756 of February 10, 2016 of the Conseil d'État ruling on contentious matters overturned the order of June 19, 2014,...
