9. Generator maintenance

The maintenance schedules applicable to a genset require a good knowledge of the equipment and the manufacturer's recommendations, but must also take account of the site configuration and operating mode.

Standard NFX 60010 of December 1994 specifies three levels of maintenance personnel.

1 er level or operation level in charge of :

  • driving and visual control ;

  • parameter readings ;

  • routine maintenance ;

2nd level or maintainer level in charge of :

  • performance control ;

  • setting certain parameters ;

  • replacement of certain parts by standard...
