2.1 Modeling electromechanical actuators
Modeling electromechanical actuators involves establishing analytical laws linking observable electrical input quantities at the machine's terminals (phase-to-phase voltage, line current) to mechanical output quantities (torque, speed) via its internal characteristics (flux and inductances for electromagnetic actuators, or dielectric capacitance and electromechanical coupling factor for piezoelectric actuators). These links enable the machine's electromechanical parameters to be identified and controlled in real time, so that the required duty cycle can be met via the power supply and control modules.
