1. Materials used

1.1 Influence of current feeds

The inductor and its leads carry a high current which can cause a significant voltage drop. This occurs :

  • for series connection, between generator and field winding ;

  • for parallel connection, between the adapter box and the inductor.

It is essentially produced by cable inductance.
