2. REM and reversing control of an electrically driven elevator
The aim of this section is to illustrate the principles of REM and reversing control in the case of an electrically driven elevator. The various elevator devices and the energy issues associated with the electric elevator will first be presented. Modeling, REM and its comparison with transfer function and Bond Graph representations will then be detailed and analyzed. Inversion control will then be presented, and simulation results will validate the system's sound energy management. Finally, a discussion on more efficient elevators will be addressed.
