3. Conclusion
This article summarizes the various voltage inverter structures, with or without redundancy, and their management in standby mode to guarantee continuity of service for the source/inverter/load assembly. For structures without redundancy, it has been shown that, whatever the inverter structure chosen and the associated control mode, a compromise has to be found right from the design phase in order to guarantee emergency operation either in nominal mode (by accepting an oversizing of components and therefore an additional cost) or in degraded mode (by accepting a reduction in system performance at constant cost). For structures with redundancy, it appears that the splitting up of switched and processed power at component, switching cell and connected source winding level provides valuable degrees of freedom for establishing active redundancy strategies, whether internal, system or distributed....
