8. A concrete example

This section will illustrate the different concepts on a small power electronics design project. We want to design (or select) a rectifier to be studied in its operating environment, consisting of a three-phase source and a single-phase load, such as a resistor or a DC motor. We'd like to study the behavior of the converter and its effects on the load, in the event of a voltage imbalance in the network or the momentary loss of a phase.

This succinct description should suffice to define a reference meta-schema.

We start by making a package containing all the materials common to the project.
