3. Conclusion
A great deal of work has been carried out in this field, in view of the need to optimize the flow of untimely currents (such as lightning currents, for example), for the safety of people and property. They have been based on the use of models that are often empirical, rather qualitative and restrictive. These models do not take into account variations with frequency, nor do they allow for coupling, including resistive coupling. The analytical approach developed here enables us to define their field of validity and proposes analytical-digital formulations that remedy the limitations mentioned above. In addition, this method opens the way to circuit-type modeling, well suited to the study of complex systems integrating heterogeneous components or devices, such as power electronics converters.
