4. Testing laboratories. Award of the NF mark

4.1 Laboratories for high-power or extra-high-voltage testing

The major manufacturers have their own laboratories, which are of course not accessible to third parties, except by special agreement. In France, on the other hand, EDF acts as a service provider with its test center at Les Renardières, near Montereau. The same applies to CESI (Centro Elettrotechnico Sperimentale Italiano) in Milan, Italy. KEMA (Keuring van Electrotechnische Materialen) in Arnhem, the Netherlands, an independent laboratory, enjoys a flattering reputation.
