6. Conclusion
As in many other technical fields, computer-aided design is now an essential phase in the creation of electrical devices. While the overall generic approach has remained virtually unchanged for decades, implementation has broadened to take account of the operating environment, and the targeted device is increasingly constrained. Indeed, in addition to primary functionality, the design of electrical devices must also include specific features relating to economic and/or environmental imperatives.
