4. Conclusion
The material presented in this dossier focuses on how to use, and the benefits of using, an inverse model approach based on the bond graph language. In a design process, the inverse model approach comes naturally, since the design problem data is generally expressed in terms of outputs, which are then used as inputs to solve the problem. Among other things, this approach saves time and increases the relevance of the design process (sizing margins, dynamic sizing, origin of undersizing, etc.).
In this context, the bond graph language is an interesting modeling tool for design, since while it is a graphical tool for analysis and synthesis, it is close to physics and can represent the multi-disciplinary and multi-technological aspects of systems.
