6. Conclusion
In this study, we presented the advantages of DC transmission, especially as a complement to the conventional three-phase network.
After the study of extra-high voltage transmission, which replaced conventional three-phase transmission, concepts evolved towards the notion of direct current networks. First, to transmit power even over land, by overhead line or cable. Then to enable better "distribution" of generators and power distribution on a DC line (preferably wired). Cables can be used to link land and sea sources without difficulty.
