5. Ventilation systems

When designing a CMV system, you always have to choose between one of three basic techniques:

  • single-flow extraction ventilation ;

  • insufflation and extraction ventilation in networks, with independent flow rates (independent double flow);

  • double-flow ventilation with heat exchanger recovery.

Each of these techniques has its own advantages, and the choice depends on the purpose of the premises and their environment.
