3. Modulated ventilation for commercial buildings
Ventilation flow modulation is designed to provide the right ventilation flow at the right time. Airflow is automatically regulated according to room occupancy, and therefore according to need.
As a reminder, for :
supply hygienic fresh air to occupants ;
extract specific pollutants including humidity ;
reduce odors.
The aim is therefore to deal with different sources of pollution that are not constant over time. Modulation must provide a good match between supply and need to optimize energy losses and improve comfort (e.g. acoustics).
Depending on the situation, the first step is to identify the appropriate sensor(s) for the sources of pollution to be treated.
