5. Hot air
5.1 General
Forced-air heating is a hot-air diffusion system used to heat one or more rooms in a building.
The air is drawn from the room via return air inlets and routed to the heat source for reheating. It is then reintroduced into the entire dwelling via air inlets.
To ensure that the warm air is properly distributed, the size of the ducts is calculated according to the size of the building and the distance from the generator.
A humidification-dehumidification system maintains satisfactory humidity levels, especially in damp rooms. A filter placed before the heat source eliminates suspended particles.
