2. Implementation
Glue-down installation has become a traditional technique, just like sealed installation ( NF DTU 52.1 ), with the publication, in December 2009, of the NF DTU 52.2 "Bonded installation of ceramic and similar coverings – natural stone". This DTU applies only to new work on traditional substrates in P3 premises at most. It does not cover substrates such as fluid screeds (cement or anhydrite), ready-to-tile panels, water or electric underfloor heating, etc. For these substrates, please refer to the relevant technical notices or CPTs (technical specification manuals), which are still valid today. The same applies to renovation work or work in P4 premises.
