3. Conclusion
For all existing elevators, a new system has been introduced which harmonizes with the one already in place for new elevators.
Gradually modernized to take account of the existing situation, maintained to a higher standard, and subject to periodic technical inspections, France's elevator fleet will be able to be used more safely by all users, for whom the elevator has become an indispensable piece of equipment.
