2.1 Connection to the public network

To be serviced, a plot of land must be connected to the drinking water network. To do this, the owner must complete a number of formalities and pay the connection costs.

It includes :

  • a meter to indicate the quantity of water consumed and billed;

  • a look with a lid ;

  • a shut-off valve belonging to the company to neutralize the water supply;

  • a shut-off valve to isolate the meter in case of replacement;

  • a non-return valve to avoid injecting polluted water into the city circuit;

  • a pipe between the connection and the house, generally...
