3. Conclusion
Hot water, cold water and gas pipes are important elements in a single-family home. They must be of the highest quality, both in terms of materials and installation, because a leak can cause major damage.
In cold climates, pipes running through crawl spaces or basements need to be insulated.
In new buildings, it is possible to prefer cold and hot water pipes embedded in the ground for aesthetic reasons, if all precautions are taken, which is generally not possible for work in existing homes.
Wherever possible, the plumber should provide shut-off valves with drain cocks, which are very useful in the event of a leak to isolate the faulty section of pipework.
If the construction lends itself to it, the hot water production method will be chosen to obtain the best possible efficiency....
