INTRODUCTION
Light-colored concrete's light-colored constituents (cement, sand and aggregates) make it ideally suited to a sophisticated architectural approach. With mechanical, acoustic and thermal performances similar to those of ordinary concrete, it offers a wide variety of surface appearances and colors. In prefabrication or on site, clear concrete is subjected to elaborate surface treatments: application of acid gel, sanding, addition of plasticizing admixtures, etc.
