6.1 Designing a construction project
A future owner intends to build. What does he need to do?
He must design a project, call in a project manager (architect, design office, etc.) and sign a project management contract with him.
This will enable the prime contractor to :
design the house construction project (drawing up plans, technical documents, etc.);
direct the work.
The main contractor may not be responsible for building the house.
With this type of contract, the owner must call on several tradesmen (electrician, mason, etc.) and sign a contract with each of them to carry out the construction....
