1. General
1.1 Establishments subject to regulation (article T 1)
The provisions of articles T are applicable to commercial establishments intended for exhibitions, fairs or shows of a temporary nature in which the number of members of the public is greater than or equal to one of the following numbers:
100 people in the basement;
100 people on floors and other elevated structures ;
200 people in all.
Permanent exhibition halls (for motor vehicles, boats, machinery and other large-scale capital goods) that are not used for fairs or exhibitions are covered by articles T.

Regulations
Article R. 123-3 of the French Construction and Housing Code, amended by Decree no. 2009-1119 of September 16, 2009 on the obligations of builders, owners and operators of establishments open to the public.
Article R. 3511-6 of the French Public Health Code prohibits smoking in public places.
