3. Rescue equipment
3.1 Extinguishing media (article EF 15)
Fire protection must be provided by :
portable water-spray extinguishers with a minimum capacity of 6 liters, judiciously distributed, with a minimum of one unit per 150 m 2 , so that the maximum distance to an extinguisher does not exceed 15 m;
fire extinguishers appropriate to the risk.
In exceptional cases, the installation of an armoured fire hydrant with a nominal diameter of 20 mm may be requested after consultation with the Safety Commission:
in establishments listed in article EF 4 (section 2.1.3);
