6. Conclusions and outlook
The various aspects of geotechnical structure modelling covered in this article have provided an initial overview of the challenges facing the engineer in charge of numerical calculations. All these aspects must lead to the development of reliable models that guarantee the robustness and durability of the structures built.
A fundamental aspect that has not been addressed is the sensitivity of the proposed numerical simulation to certain parameters. It is very important to check that variations in these parameters do not invalidate certain conclusions.
These studies are particularly necessary for complex numerical models, whether in terms of geometry, behavior laws, etc.
