3. Traction and braking performance

  • Normal operation

    The most commonly required performances must be maintained, both in bearing and in TLC under 750 V :

    • maximum speed: around 60 km/h in urban service, 100 km/h for a tram-train;

    • average acceleration: 1 m/s 2 from 0 to 40 km/h, ∼ 0.9 m/s 2 from 0 to 60 km/h ;

    • FNS deceleration: 1.25 to 1.3 m/s 2 ;

    • deceleration in FU : ≥ 3 m/s 2 ;

    • deceleration in FS : ≥ 1 m/s 2 .
