2. Stairs

One-piece staircases are produced from metal molds using "mold-hardened" techniques.

Molds are generally adjustable to suit the dimensions of steps and flights.

For straight flight staircases, the molds are usually placed vertically on edge (figure 7 ). In particular, this allows the use of self-compacting concretes.

After positioning the reinforcement and handling inserts, the plastic consistency concrete is introduced into the upper part of the structure. It is placed and compacted by external vibration (vibrators fixed to the framework) or internal vibration (vibrating needle).
