10. Conclusion
The aim of this dossier is to provide a brief overview of what is known about the warping of revolutionary hulls, without claiming to be exhaustive. The authors have therefore necessarily made some choices. They have drawn heavily on the excellent chapter devoted to the warping of hull structures, written by D. Vandepitte. . They wished to comment on the buckling verification rules of EN 1993-1-6 and, more specifically, to draw attention to certain important aspects linked to the use of numerical methods to verify the buckling resistance of an imperfect shell.
