6.1 Neoprene (or polychloroprene) adhesives
These are solvent-based Neoprene rubber adhesives, with 18-28% solids content, viscosities ranging from 300 mPa · s to 8,000 mPa · s, highly flammable before drying due to the high solvent content.

They are always used for contact bonding.

The adhesive is applied to each of the two materials to be joined (double gluing), using a brush, squeegee or pressure gun.
