4. Preventing damage

The difficulty of implementing effective treatments capable of restoring diseased structures to their original life expectancy and suitability for service, makes it essential to adopt a policy of preventing disorders caused by these reactions. The recommendations published by the LCPC [28] and the guide for the elaboration of career files [29] , establish the principles of this prevention, the philosophy of which can be summarized in three points:
