6.1 Preliminary remarks
The direct measurement methods available for quantifying general sustainability indicators and alkali-reaction-specific indicators, as well as the tests that can be used to quantify parameters that provide indirect access to general sustainability indicators, are summarized in Table 1 , along with their precision and the time required to obtain results.
