2. Leaf stabilization technology

Given the low amplitude of expansion-related deformation and its "absorption" by shrinkage phenomena in the direction of the door height, it is not necessary to seek a solution. We will therefore only be looking at stabilization due to shrinkage.

Insofar as the faces are made of wood or derived materials, this phenomenon will always occur.

The means of action allow :

  • or to cancel the leaf deflection;

  • or to limit it to a ratio compatible with control of the air permeability of the sash/frame connection.

  • choice of face material ;

  • use of locking hardware ;

  • the use of "stiffeners";...
