
1. Filling
These elements are installed in the frame, either grooved (during framing) or rebated like glazing (recommended technique), after the frame has been framed (except for elements installed in drawers).
A distinction is made between opaque and transparent elements.
1.1 Opaque elements
They are installed either in the fixed parts of window frames, or in the sills of patio-doors (in exceptional cases, they completely conceal the sashes).
