8. Installation

Prior to installation, studies carried out in collaboration with the specifier and builder enable us to define :

  • the escalator or moving walkway as a whole ;

  • civil engineering to house the device;

  • control cabinet, depending on the operating mode selected;

  • interfaces with the building (layout, power supply, BMS, etc.);

  • how it is inserted into its sheath and installed on its upper and lower supports.

Then there's the always tricky introduction phase, with two cases to consider: the open-air staircase and the staircase positioned inside the building.
