
2. Slopes
Minimum slopes and minimum overlaps for canal tiles are given in the table
1
, according to the "application zones" and "situations" defined in paragraph 6 of the fascicule
The minimum slope is that of the roof, not that of the individual tile. The table 1 applies to slopes whose horizontal projection length does not exceed 12 m.
slopes with a horizontal projection of more than 12 m require special waterproofing provisions at the bottom of the slope. These special provisions, specific to each building site, are not covered in the present document.
