In an air-conditioning system, air is the heat transfer fluid. It is therefore necessary to ensure the connections between the components (air handling unit, extraction fan, etc.) and the premises served:
distribution of treated air ;
recirculated air return ;
exhaust air ;
supply fresh air to the air handling unit.

fans (whether or not incorporated in the air handling unit);

dampers or registers for control or safety ;
