4. TAC/IMV coupling – Combined cycles
In some high-power plants, the exhaust gases from a combustion turbine are used to heat the water in the steam power plant. In this way, the GV of the IMV consists of an exhaust gas/liquid water exchanger, followed by steam. The plant is known as a combined gas/steam cycle. A diagram of such a plant is shown on figure 43 .
