Felling; mining or coal felling
Operation consisting of detaching a block of coal from the seam.
Outcrop; upper layer
Part of the coal bed leading to the surface.
Charterer
A person who leases a vessel or operates a vessel on lease, under the terms of a lease contract or charter party.
Particle size analysis; sizing test
Result of a process of dividing the coal sample into fractions of different sizes with defined upper and lower limits; the proportions of the different fractions being expressed as percentages of the overall mass of the sample.
