The main forms of material needed to make LNMC (lithium, nickel, manganese, cobalt) and LFP (lithium, iron, phosphorus) batteries are listed in table 2 . For each chemical element making up a battery, this table details the forms marketed as a result of metallurgy, and a list of the main companies marketing them in 2023, and the users among the companies in charge of battery production or their users (automotive companies).
