6. Automation and control. Operations

On small power plants, voltage and speed regulation is carried out by means of regulators whose prices have become competitive with the development of electronics and computing. Depending on their importance, they can be installed in common or separate modules.

In the case of very small power ratings, flowing on a small isolated network with a rating lower than the power plant's capacity, control can be achieved by energy absorption, with local loads eliminated when consumption rises and added when it falls.
