GasEq, developed by Chris Morley and distributed free of charge, is the most interesting unrestricted combustion software package the author has found on the Internet [Doc. BE 8 044]. It can calculate chemical equilibria involving ideal gases, for the following types of problem:

  • equilibrium at given temperature and pressure ;

  • calculation of adiabatic temperature and composition at a given pressure ;

  • equilibrium at a given temperature and constant volume;

  • calculation of adiabatic temperature and composition at constant volume ;
