Données nucléaires; nuclear data
Fundamental characteristics of the atomic nucleus and of nuclear phenomena such as radioactivity and nuclear reactions. These characteristics are represented by sets of numerical values, which specialists refer to as basic physical data, nuclear data, atomic data and spectroscopic data. In common usage, the term "nuclear data" is sometimes used generically to cover all these data.
Assessment; evaluation
Set of nuclear data values produced by nuclear physicists, called evaluators, following a delicate and long (≈ 1 man · year/isotope) task of analyzing measurement results, implementing adjustment methods and theoretical formalisms.
Processing computational codes
Software for processing the nuclear data required by codes for the transport...
