Instrumentation Internal reactor instrumentation describe the specific features of reprocessing plants, nuclear power reactors and environmental monitoring facilities. For fuel reprocessing plants, these are mainly nuclear measures to ensure the safety of operations and measures to quantify the effects of reprocessing on the environment. For power reactors, these include out-of-vessel measurements to monitor reactor operating safety, and in-vessel measurements to ensure boiler operation and optimize parameters.
