3. Some design methodologies
Beyond technical mastery of the platform, the methodological aspects of computer-aided design are of crucial importance to manufacturers. Indeed, it is these methodologies that may or may not lead to rich, robust models, enabling the CATIA platform to reach its full potential. Productivity gains will be all the greater if the model defined can adapt to modifications or requirements that arise during design iterations. Here are just a few examples of methodologies implemented with CATIA.
